A TIF Over Progress

While the County budget director, Executive, and Council burn the late night oil sorting through the priorities of the next year’s budget, a small TIF occurs.  Our community is on the verge of a new renaissance, featuring community amenities that were out of reach to but a few.  Our new innovative housing options that will create an active community with workforce housing, bicycle trails and arts to uplift it’s citizens out of lifeless underutilized expanses.  The citizens have their faces pressed against the glass looking into a vision with a sign saying ”coming soon”. There is little chance that our leaders would jeopardize this progress with a minor technical error.  The Cresent is on a roll!  We will not let it stop Columbia from becoming the City on the Hill that everyone envisioned.
