Without a doubt, Columbia is the heart of the county. The planned community shines today as it did when Rouse envisioned it 50 years ago. The citizens who chose to move to this vibrant town chose civility because of the outstanding leadership of our community. From our Executive, to the Columbia Association, to the Horizon Foundation, each plays a role in making the vision a reality. As our leaders carry out their rites of passage this fall, we can anticipate that the heartbeat will remain strong and our community will grow and prosper.
